What this value means
Headline CPI July 2026 = 102.10 (base year 2566/2023 = 100), +1.95% YoY — a slowdown from June's +2.42%, driven by fuel-price base effects. CORE inflation (headline excluding fresh food and energy) +1.34% YoY. The value served here is HEADLINE, which is the series the Bank of Thailand targets (1-3% band). Thailand rebased the CPI from 2562 (2019) to 2566 (2023) with the basket expanded from 430 to 464 items covering 56 provinces, so index levels are not comparable across the rebasing. Ministry of Commerce full-year 2026 forecast: 1.5-2.5% (midpoint 2.0%), reaffirmed at this release. NEXT RELEASE: first week of September 2026 (TPSO releases in the first week of each month; the July release landed 5 August, a day earlier than scheduled).
