Pricing

asiaref sells Asian government reference data — every value cited to the official government or central-bank source it came from. Buy prepaid credit with a card, or pay per call. Same data, same API.

Prepaid credit — pay by card

A one-time purchase. You receive an API key with a fixed number of calls, usable immediately. There is no subscription and no recurring charge — when the credit runs out, buy another pack if you want more.

$25
5,000 paid API calls

For a service calling us on a schedule.

$0.0050 per call, any endpoint

Buy on afriref.dev — $25
$100
20,000 paid API calls

Production workloads and bulk backfills.

$0.0050 per call, any endpoint

Buy on afriref.dev — $100

Card checkout runs on our afriref.dev domain — one checkout serves the whole fleet, and the key you receive works here on asiaref exactly as it works there: same key, same balance, all seven regional services.

How the two payment rails charge: by card, every successful paid call uses one prepaid credit ($0.005 each on the $10, $25 and $100 packs), whichever endpoint it is; over x402, every call pays the price quoted in its own 402 challenge, $0.005 to $0.25 depending on the endpoint (listed on the pricing page). Failed or refused calls are not charged on either rail.

Credit does not expire. Prices are in US dollars and exclude any sales tax or VAT, which is calculated at checkout based on your location. For an invoice, volume pricing or a purchase order, write to [email protected].

Volume & enterprise — invoiced

Higher volumes are billed by invoice or purchase order rather than card, and priced below the standard rate. Published rates, not "contact us for a quote":

TierPriceAPI callsPer call
Volume 100k$400100,000$0.0040
Volume 500k$1,500500,000$0.0030
Enterprisefrom $2,5001,000,000+$0.0025

Invoiced annually or on purchase order, payable by card or bank transfer. Enterprise includes a named support contact and advance notice of breaking API changes. Volumes above 1,000,000 calls are quoted on request and will not exceed $0.0025 per call. Write to [email protected].

Per-call pricing for automated clients

Machine clients that prefer to settle each request individually, rather than hold a balance, can do so without an account or an API key. Per-call rates are listed below; see the developer documentation for how to authorise a request.

These are the rates the x402 payment challenge actually quotes, settled in USDC on Base. /v1/changes — what changed, and how recently every series was re-verified against its official sourceFree
/v1/calendar — re-verification window derived from last_confirmed + update_cycle_days; a recorded effective_to end only when that field is already set. Not a future gazette. Notes are not parsedFree
/settlement-conventions — every settlement cycle we cite, and the ones we refuse toFree

Change feed — free. GET /v1/changes. What moved, and how recently we re-verified every series. Poll this after you have paid once.

Re-verification calendar — free. GET /v1/calendar. reverify_by is derived from last_confirmed + update_cycle_days (the same window that sets stale). next_effective_known appears only when the current value already has effective_to; it is that recorded end, not an MPC, budget, or wage-review date. status: unknown omits the date and is still free. We do not parse notes. Past moves stay on GET /v1/changes; push stays on POST /alerts.

Webhook alerts — register free. POST /alerts. HMAC-signed. First 3 deliveries free; after that one prepaid-key call per delivery ($0.10 ladder). Same endpoint watches official documents by sha256. Unknown URLs refused free.

Answer receipts — included when requested. On a paid answer POST (wage-check, VAT, working-days, settlement-date, income-tax, statutory-interest, employment-cost), set receipt: true. Statutory interest is included: the signed answer_receipt rides on that $0.05 answer with no extra charge. The paid HTTP 200 then includes an Ed25519-signed answer_receipt, verified at /certified/public-key. No extra charge beyond that answer's listed price. This is not the series certified extract (GET /v1/certified/{country}/{series} at $0.25).

What you are buying

Statutory reference data for the countries asiaref covers — central-bank policy rates, VAT and sales-tax rates, statutory minimum wages, income-tax brackets and public holidays — plus computed answers built on it: business-day and settlement-date calculations, VAT breakdowns, income-tax workings, simple statutory interest at the cited series rate (Actual/365), employment-cost calculations (AE only).

Delivery is instant and entirely digital. Data is monitored against its official source and flagged stale: true when it passes its expected update cycle. See our refund policy before purchasing.

Not what you were looking for?

If the packs above do not fit — you need a different set of countries, a bulk extract, a licence for redistribution, an SLA, or something we do not sell yet — say so here. It goes straight to the person who maintains the data.

Stored on asiaref's own server and read by a person. Nothing is added to a mailing list, no sequence is started, and we do not pass it on. See Privacy.
