Components YoY: food 10.4%, non-food goods 11.7%, paid services 9.0%. Kazakhstan is disinflating from a high plateau, not from a normal one: annual inflation peaked at 12.9% in September 2025 (the reading that triggered the 18% base rate), and June 2026 is the ninth consecutive monthly decline — but 10.3% is still far above the NBK's 5% medium-term target. The same June figures appear in the NBK base-rate release of 24 Jul 2026 and match exactly, so the statistical office and the central bank are not diverging. Next release: 3 August 2026 (July 2026 data), per the Bureau's own schedule. Unlike several peers the Bureau's site is fetchable without geo-blocks; the monthly release IDs are not sequential (June=347710, May=346888, April=346502, March=480322, February=281448, January=281083), so a source-watcher must read the publications index rather than increment an ID.
