Core inflation 2.76% y-o-y, so the headline-core gap has nearly closed and the volatile-price pressure that drove the June reading has unwound. At 2.88% the print is back inside the middle of Bank Indonesia's 2026 target band of 2.5% +/- 1%. BPS releases the monthly IHK on the first working days of the following month; the August print is due ~1 September 2026.
