Inflation has been inside the government's 1–3% target range all year and just below the 2% midpoint: the Bank of Israel's 6 July 2026 rate decision described May inflation as 'stable around the midpoint of the target range' at 1.9%, with core (net of energy, fruit and vegetables) at 1.6%, non-tradables 2.9% and tradables 0.4%; the June reading extends the moderation.
