What this value means
Standard RCIT 25%, retroactive to 1 Jul 2020 under CREATE (RA 11534). Reduced 20% RCIT for domestic corporations with net taxable income not exceeding P5m AND total assets not exceeding P100m (excluding the land where the office, plant and equipment sit). CREATE MORE (RA 12066) adds a 20% RCIT on taxable income from registered projects/activities of Registered Business Enterprises (RBEs) that elect the Enhanced Deductions Regime (Secs. 27(A) and 28(A)(1) as amended); RBEs may alternatively be under the 5% Special Corporate Income Tax after their income-tax holiday. Minimum corporate income tax (MCIT) 2% of gross income (temporarily 1% from Jul 2020 to Jun 2023 under CREATE relief) applies from the 4th taxable year where it exceeds RCIT. Verified from the RA 12066 statute text on LawPhil; BIR's site is a JS shell unusable for automated verification.
